Bengaluru, 21 March 2025 – ‘Golf for Good’, a charity tournament in aid of The Akshaya Patra Foundation, powered by Neokred’s Empact Project, a CSR-driven initiative was conducted successfully in Prestige Golfshire Club, Bengaluru. To create an impact that goes beyond one-time donations, the event has succeeded in bringing many corporate leaders, philanthropists and sports enthusiasts together to support the cause of alleviating classroom hunger. The funds raised through this event can feed 1,400 children (approximately 3,20,122 mid-day meals) across India.
The event was graced by the presence of prominent personalities including Dinesh Malkani - Founder & CEO, Smarten Spaces, and former President, Cisco; Vaibhav Gupta - Managing Director of Mairav Group of Companies and Group CEO of Greenways Group of Companies; Gopinath Ambadithody, VP of the Embassy Group and Ishwar Subramanian, Director of V Guard Industries Ltd. Al Mouj and Alila sponsored for the tournament prizes. Apart from Golfshire Club as the venue partner, Deccan Herald served as the print partner, Radio City as the radio partner and TiE Bangalore as the support partner, showcasing the collective commitment of individuals and organisations towards The Government of India’s PM POSHAN Abhiyaan.
