Akshaya Patra's Food Relief Efforts: Grocery Kit Distribution

In March 2020, as the government enforced a nationwide lockdown, Akshaya Patra began to distribute Grocery Kits in vulnerable communities to support daily wage earners and their families. By March 15, 2021, the Foundation had served over 10.19 kits, equating over 4.19 Crore meals. Through Food Relief Efforts, Akshaya Patra has cumulatively distributed over 12.2 Crore meals, including cooked meals and dry rations over the past year.
